A few months ago, Tagesspiegel reported that there are increasing attacks on queer people. Even in Berlin, the rainbow state: the city that is often portrayed as completely open and tolerant in the rest of the country. But here, verbal attacks on people are increasing daily – more insults, more exclusion, more threats. And all because of their sexual orientation.

To raise awareness of this, I am meeting with the drag queen @yvonnenightstand and a photographer friend to produce an editorial under the slogan „Too queer for public transport.“

In the end, we were called „fags“ by a few teenagers in the park. What else would you shout at a drag queen in a pink fur outfit?
